July 2022 we gathered from both sides of the Mississippi river in front of St. Louis MPD for a demonstration and protest and a call to justice to honor the life of Jayland Walker. An unarmed young black man shot at 90 times by Akron police and 60+ bullets riddling his body.
August 7th, 2021, We launched the Metro-East Poor Peoples Campaign Chapter. It is an extension to MEOC’s work. The launch was held at 2511 State Street, E. St. Louis, Illinois. We also commemorated Black August.
